P3: Performer Visa — Recently, this firm successfully filed a P-3 for a local company sponsoring a large group of performers and entertainers from Kerala (South India) who will be arriving to the U.S. to perform in a traditional South Indian song, dance and entertainment extravaganza. The Petitioner (Sponsor) already has several years of experience in presenting musical and classical dance performances throughout the U.S. and was seeking to expand that tradition by bringing performers from South India to share their unique cultural performance to an American audience. These shows will be a complete South Indian cultural extravaganza, which will include live classical music, mimic/comedy acts, folks dances such as the ‘bharatanatyam’, ‘kuchipudi’ and the ‘mohiniyattom’.
